Broadside Drop “Dark Passenger” and Reveal New Album Nowhere, At Last

Broadside are officially stepping into a new era, and it’s one that feels a little heavier, a little more honest, and very hard to ignore. The band have unveiled their latest single “Dark Passenger,” arriving this Friday, January 16, alongside a new music video, while also announcing their upcoming album Nowhere, At Last, due out April 10 via Thriller Records.

Broadside – Dark Passenger

If you’ve ever had that feeling where your own thoughts start working against you, “Dark Passenger” is going to hit close to home. Vocalist Oliver Baxxter describes the track as living with that inner shadow, the kind that starts as a visitor but ends up feeling like a permanent roommate. It’s about anxiety, self sabotage, and the strange comfort that comes from patterns you know aren’t good for you, but feel familiar all the same. It’s uncomfortable in the best way, the kind of song that makes you pause and think rather than just sing along.

Musically, it feels like Broadside leaning fully into who they are right now. There’s still that polished pop rock edge they’ve built their name on, but it’s paired with a darker, more reflective tone that shows how much the band has grown. This isn’t Broadside chasing trends or trying to recreate the past. It’s Broadside sounding grounded, confident, and very aware of what they want to say.

The single acts as the final piece of the puzzle before Nowhere, At Last arrives this spring. The album promises a more self aware and settled version of the band, reflecting on movement, identity, and that feeling of finally arriving somewhere after years of searching. If “Dark Passenger” is any indication, this record is going to be less about proving themselves and more about being comfortable in their own skin.

With a packed 2026 ahead including major tour dates and festival appearances, Broadside look ready to make this next chapter count. “Dark Passenger” feels like an invitation into that world, not polished to perfection, but real, relatable, and quietly powerful. If this is where the album is heading, April can’t come soon enough.
