Against The Current have dropped another taste of their upcoming album, this time unveiling the new single Always You & I. The track arrives as one of the record’s most heartfelt moments, centring on themes of fate, lasting devotion and finding the one person who feels like home, no matter the lifetime.
The release follows recent single Dead Man Walking, which has also just received its official music video. Directed by long time collaborator Ryan Valdez, who previously worked with the band on Weapon, the new visual expands on the darker themes introduced with the track and gives fans another look at what’s to come from the band’s next chapter.
Speaking about Always You & I, vocalist Chrissy Costanza said, “Always You & I is about a love that transcends time, a soulmate that is destined across every lifetime. It’s about finding that person who is so certain and familiar that meeting them feels like coming home from the very first moment. They are the answer to every question. Until the very end of all things, it was always them.”
Against The Current will also head out on their Til Death & Back Tour later this year, playing five UK dates before continuing across Europe. The run wraps up with a headline show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, with tickets on sale now.
