Colorblind have shared their latest single, “Chemical Warfare”, offering another glimpse into their highly anticipated debut album Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold, which arrives on August 28 via Solid State Records.
The Austin quartet continue building momentum ahead of the record with a track that explores the battle between identity and self perception. Accompanied by a brand new music video, “Chemical Warfare” follows previous singles including “Needle Eye”, “Letdown” and “Car Crash” as the band edge closer to releasing their first full length album.
Speaking about the song, vocalist Travis Moseley said: “‘Chemical Warfare’ is about the war between who you are and who you believe you are. When self perception becomes a weapon, every thought feels like an attack. The song lives in the tension between inherited beliefs and personal truth. The moment you realize the voice tearing you down may not be yours at all.”
Since forming in 2017, Colorblind have emerged as one of modern heavy music’s fastest rising names, blending crushing riffs with atmospheric melodies across what they’ve dubbed their “dreamcore” sound. The band have amassed more than 30 million streams while earning support from SiriusXM Octane and sharing stages with the likes of blessthefall, Miss May I and Dayseeker.

Following the release of Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold, Colorblind will head out across North America this autumn supporting Catch Your Breath on an extensive tour beginning in October.
