PRESIDENT have shared another look at their highly anticipated debut album, with new single “dark heaven” arriving ahead of the release of Blood Of Your Empire, due out on September 4th via Atlantic Records.
The mysterious UK collective have quickly become one of the most talked about new names in alternative music since emerging in 2025, building a huge following through their anonymous identity, cinematic visuals and a run of successful singles. Their momentum continues to grow, with the band’s first ever US headline tour already completely sold out before it even begins.
Speaking about the new track, PRESIDENT explained that “dark heaven” explores the complicated relationship between faith and power, rather than attacking religion itself.
“It’s a reflection on the contradictions of faith, and how something intended to unite humanity has so often been used to justify division, violence, and power,” the band said. “It isn’t an attack on belief itself. It’s about searching for something real beneath the noise, and asking what remains when certainty begins to crumble.”
The wider album was inspired by the band’s own struggle with existential questions around belief, mortality and humanity. They describe Blood Of Your Empire as an exploration of the tension between the compassion religion can inspire and the suffering it has caused throughout history, with the writing process becoming a way to confront those ideas.
The album arrives on September 4th through Atlantic Records and features ten tracks, including previously released singles Angel Wings, DOOM LOOP and Mercy. PRESIDENT will launch their sold out North American headline tour the same day, following their recent run supporting Bad Omens, with support coming from Cenobia and Showing Teeth on selected dates. The tour runs through to October 14th, cementing what has already become a breakthrough year for one of heavy music’s fastest rising acts.
