XCOMM are keeping their momentum going with new single Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing, a release that shows just how wide the Venice hardcore band’s range already is.
The two part track moves between extremes. Hot Pursuit hits first with fast, confrontational energy, built around urgency and frustration, before shifting into One And Nothing, which leans darker and more reflective. Together, the songs feel like a snapshot of a band exploring intensity without losing focus.
Frontman Michael Gatto says Hot Pursuit came from everyday frustrations and the need to channel that energy into something purposeful, while One And Nothing focuses on clarity and the realisation that you still have control over how things unfold. That contrast drives the release, pairing raw aggression with moments of perspective.
The single arrives after a huge start to the year for the band. XCOMM supported Foo Fighters at the Kia Forum, landed on the NME 100 for 2026 and saw their video for Fake ID pull in millions of views, all while rapidly growing their audience online.
Released via Blowed Out Records and produced by Ross Robinson, the track also offers another look at what’s coming next. The band’s debut album Time To Burn is on the way, with XCOMM continuing to position themselves as one of hardcore’s most talked about new names.
Since forming in 2023, the group have built a reputation for blending old school hardcore intensity with a modern edge, sharing stages with Hatebreed and appearing at major festivals while still operating with the urgency of a young band finding its voice.

With more live shows expected to be announced soon, Hot Pursuit / One And Nothing feels less like a standalone drop and more like another step in a breakout year that’s only just getting started.
