The Devil Wears Prada are back, and they’re stepping into a whole new era with fire in their lungs. Their brand-new single Eyes has just dropped, and it’s the kind of track that reminds you why this band is still one of the most important names in metalcore, even after two decades in the game.
Taken from their upcoming ninth album Flowers, due out November 14 via Solid State Records, Eyes digs into that unsettling moment when you start questioning everything you once thought was true. Guitarist Jonathan Gering calls it the sound of breaking away from something that’s only held you back, while Jeremy DePoyster describes it as “yearning for answers when you’re caught in a wave of anxiety.” Heavy stuff—but let’s be real, Prada have always thrived when it comes to matching crushing riffs with real emotion.
And speaking of riffs, this one is stacked. The verses are sharp and melodic, before the fuzz kicks in and everything hits like a wall. It’s a song that feels desperate and hopeful all at once—the kind of anthem that’ll stick with you long after the first listen.
What makes this even more exciting is that Flowers isn’t just another record for TDWP. It’s the start of a new chapter. The band just wrapped their Summer of Loud run, filling amphitheaters across the States, and they’ve already notched their first-ever Billboard Active Rock hit with For You. Now, they’re about to join Ice Nine Kills and Creeper on an arena tour across the UK and Europe—stopping at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, Glasgow’s Hydro, and other massive stages.

It’s wild to think about how far they’ve come since With Roots Above and Branches Below and the Zombie EP—both scene staples that still get name-checked today. Yet here they are, pushing harder than ever with some of their biggest shows, boldest songs, and most ambitious record yet.
Eyes is only the beginning. If the rest of Flowers lives up to this first taste, The Devil Wears Prada might just be about to deliver one of the biggest moments of their career.
