Stateside Get Real on Where You Found Me—New Album and Single Out Now

California’s Stateside are wearing their hearts on their sleeves with the release of Where You Found Me, their brand new full-length out today via Pure Noise Records. Alongside the album, they’ve dropped a powerful new single and video, “Aly’s Song (So Close So Far)”, offering a raw look into the emotional tug-of-war between chasing dreams and staying connected to the people who matter most.

Frontman Anthony Lemus explains the track captures a more vulnerable side of the band’s journey:

“It’s about how we all feel that in order to pursue what we want with the band, and travelling, we oftentimes miss the big and little moments of our friends’ and loved ones’ lives. Sometimes that can really weigh on us and we question whether or not we are letting people we care about down.”

It’s this sense of emotional honesty that carries throughout Where You Found Me—a record built from years on the road, personal sacrifice, and the many forms of loss and growth that come with chasing something bigger than yourself. The 12-track album balances Stateside’s aggressive pop-punk edge with an unmistakable undercurrent of reflection.

The record also features collaborations with Knuckle Puck (“Stay Sweet”) and Vamachara (“California Calls You Home”), adding extra weight to an already stacked release.

The End’s Not Near It’s Here

With tour dates already underway, Stateside will be hitting the road this summer supporting One Step Closer, before heading back out in the fall to support The Starting Line. For a band that thrives in motion, this new era feels both like a reflection and a reset.

Stateside aren’t just chasing a sound—they’re living it. And with Where You Found Me, they’ve made a record that’ll stick with anyone who’s ever had to choose between the people they love and the passion that drives them.
