Colorblind have announced their debut album Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold, set for release on August 28 via Solid State Records. Alongside the news, the band have shared a brand new single, “Pressure,” which opens the upcoming record.
The Austin based band have been building momentum for a few years now, pulling in over 30 million streams and carving out their own lane in modern heavy music. Blending metalcore with cinematic elements, they’ve become one of the standout names in the growing dreamcore space, with previous tracks like “Motionless,” “Needle Eye,” and “Letdown” helping push that forward.
Speaking on the new single, vocalist Travis Moseley said: “Pressure is about the weight of your own mind crushing you from the inside out. This was one of the first songs made for the record. I was really feeling the pressure of signing my first record deal, making my first album, and it was all coming to a head. I’m so grateful to have all of this pressure in my life.”
The album will feature 15 tracks including “Car Crash,” “Chemical Warfare,” and “Heavy Heart,” with “Pressure” setting the tone for what’s to come. The announcement also arrives as the band prepare to head out on a co headline US tour with Windwaker and If Not For Me, alongside a slot at Welcome to Rockville.
