Bowling For Soup have dropped their take on In Too Deep, putting their spin on the early 2000s hit made famous by Sum 41.
The cover continues the band’s recent run of revisiting pop punk staples, following last month’s version of I’m Just a Kid. This one carries a bit more history though, with Bowling For Soup and Sum 41 having shared stages and stayed close since touring together back in 2000.

Frontman Jaret Reddick reflected on that connection, recalling how quickly the bands clicked on tour and how they’ve remained friends for over 25 years, calling it “an honor” to cover one of their biggest songs.
The track lands as part of an ongoing series celebrating the era and bands that helped shape their career, with more covers expected to follow. The band are also heading into a busy run of shows this year, though the focus right now is firmly on the release itself.
