SAVE US Just Proved ‘Zero’ Can Still Sound Like a Ten

Every once in a while, a new band comes along that doesn’t just make noise — they detonate it. That’s exactly what SAVE US are doing right now. The transatlantic alt-rock/metal outfit, made up of members from England and California, have unleashed their brand-new single ‘Zero’, and it’s a full-throttle explosion of emotion, energy, and pure creative chaos.

Out now via Solid State / Tooth & Nail Records, ‘Zero’ marks the band’s first release since signing to the powerhouse label — and it’s a statement that can’t be ignored. Following their breakout track ‘BRUISED’ (which is already creeping toward half a million streams), this new single takes everything SAVE US built their name on and cranks it even further into the red.

From the moment ‘Zero’ kicks in, you’re pulled straight into a whirlwind of blast beats, razor-sharp riffs, and rapid-fire spoken word that somehow melts into moments of anthemic melody. It’s that perfect mix of beauty and brutality — the kind that feels like standing in the middle of a storm and realizing you kind of love it there.

The band says ‘Zero’ pushed them to new limits, both musically and emotionally:

“It’s packed with moments that quickly became some of our favorites in the entire catalog,” they explain. “Both musically and vocally, we stepped into places we had never dared to go before, and that challenge gave the song its unique intensity. It feels like a turning point for us creatively.”

And honestly, you can hear that. There’s this unfiltered rawness in the way ‘Zero’ swings from delicate piano passages to guttural screams, from precision to chaos. It feels alive — like something built to shake loose every ounce of restraint in the room.

SAVE US are only just getting started, too. The band — made up of Miguel Owls (vocals), Chris Biddiscombe (guitar), and Benji Havercroft (drums) — are currently working on their debut album with producer Landon Tewers, set for release in 2026. If ‘Zero’ is any indication, we’re looking at one of heavy music’s most promising new acts stepping into their full power.

So yeah — hit play, turn it up, and brace yourself. SAVE US aren’t here to blend in. They’re here to burn bright.
