Taylor Acorn Is Crashing Into Pop-Punk Glory

It’s official — Taylor Acorn is everywhere right now. After almost a decade of doing things her own way, the Nashville-based pop-punk powerhouse has just dropped her explosive new single “Crashing Out,” and honestly? It’s the kind of track that makes you want to jump on your bed with eyeliner running down your face.

If you’ve been following Acorn’s rise, you’ll know this has been a long time coming. From her early DIY releases to signing with Fearless Records earlier this year, she’s built a name on pure authenticity — no gimmicks, no gloss, just grit and heart. And with her debut album Poster Child landing October 24th, it’s clear she’s kicking the door wide open for the next generation of pop-punk fans.

“Crashing Out” is a 2000s daydream in every sense — thrashing guitars, anthemic hooks, and a vocal delivery that could make Hayley Williams proud. Written with Dylan Bauld and Mandy Lee of Misterwives, it’s a perfect storm of nostalgia and fresh energy. Taylor’s own words sum it up best: “It’s super upbeat and just an all-around great vibe. You can dance to it, you can crash out to it — and I’ve done both.”

She’s not wrong. The track feels like it was ripped straight from a burnt Warped Tour CD, all while sounding totally at home in 2025. It’s the kind of song that makes you fall in love with pop-punk all over again — honest, messy, and larger than life.

Fresh off her appearances at When We Were Young Fest and the newly revived Warped Tour, Acorn is keeping the momentum rolling. Next up is her North American headline run kicking off this November, with rising alt-rock outfit Wilt joining her as direct support. UK fans got an early taste of the Poster Child era last month when she sold out London’s Electric Ballroom — a huge milestone in her international rise.

From “Goodbye, Good Riddance” to “Hangman” and now “Crashing Out,” Taylor Acorn’s debut Poster Child is shaping up to be a pop-punk time capsule with a modern heartbeat. It’s packed with heavy emotions, high-energy riffs, and the kind of hooks that’ll be stuck in your head for weeks.

Taylor Acorn might be the Poster Child for this new era of pop-punk — but she’s also proof that the genre never really left. It just needed someone like her to bring it roaring back.

Poster Child drops October 24th via Fearless Records.
