Ever wanted to play your way through a tribute to Blink-182? Now you can—thanks to a heartfelt fan-made game that just dropped for free.
Created by independent developer Oscar (@alarconos), Videogame 182 is a pixel-art passion project inspired by the legendary trio of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge. The free downloadable demo is available now for Windows and macOS, and it’s packed with love, nostalgia, and blink references from start to finish.
Calling it “a love letter to Blink,” Oscar shared the game as a thank-you to the band that soundtracked his life, saying, “It was never a phase, Mom!” Built entirely solo—with music arrangement help from Luis Brunicardi—the project features nods to fan-favorite tracks like “What’s My Age Again?” and even includes a heartfelt note inviting players to share it with friends and family.
“I made this videogame demo from the heart and soul,” Oscar writes. “I’m forever grateful to my family and friends for their support and especially to you, the player, for being part of this personal journey.”
The game is non-commercial and strictly fan-made, with no copyright infringement intended—just pure gratitude and pixelated pop-punk joy.
Check it out, play through the tribute, and maybe shed a nostalgic tear or two while you’re at it. Blink-182 forever.
