I’m Hardcore heavyweights The Warriors are back with a brand-new album, Burn Yourself Alive, dropping March 28, 2025, via Pure Noise Records. Kicking things off with the blistering new single “My Blood,” the band delivers a working-class anthem packed with raw intensity and nods to hardcore legends like Agnostic Front and Cro-Mags.
Speaking on the track, the band shared: “The day-to-day grind of the working class is draining on both a physical and spiritual level. But the truth is, we have the power within ourselves to break free from this vampiric paradigm. Our blood is our life force, not their currency.”
A Fiery Return
Burn Yourself Alive marks The Warriors’ sixth studio album, and despite its name, it’s not a call for destruction—it’s a rallying cry for life. The band explains: “We find ourselves in dark times indeed, but while we still have a heartbeat, we have the opportunity to create: better art, better music, and better forms of governance. Bukowski said, ‘Find what you love and let it kill you.’ Find your spark. Burn yourself alive.”
The album also represents the battle of the creative process—what the band calls “the war of art.” The writing and recording process was one of their most challenging yet, shaped by personal loss but also by new beginnings. “We began this endeavor during a challenging time of transition. The creative process was punctuated by the death of close family members, but the universal scales were balanced by two band members each becoming first-time fathers.”

Adding to the excitement, Burn Yourself Alive features the return of two original members: Danny Phillips (guitar), whose signature leads have defined The Warriors’ sound for two decades, and Donny Phillips, who contributed to songwriting and co-produced the album with Roger Camero. The result? A record that blends the best of every era of the band into one powerful, relentless force.
