One Step Closer have announced their new album Zero, set for release on February 19th, 2027, via Run For Cover Records. Alongside the announcement, the Pennsylvania hardcore band have shared two brand new singles, “Blue Hour” and “Was It Ever Enough?”, both accompanied by connected music videos directed by the band themselves.

The upcoming ten track record follows 2024’s All You Embrace and sees the band reunite with longtime collaborator Jon Markson, who has previously worked with Drug Church, The Story So Far and Koyo. The new material continues the band’s move towards a more melodic sound while retaining their hardcore roots.
Vocalist Ryan Savitski revealed that the record was shaped by a particularly difficult period for the band.
“This may have been the hardest year for us, and that’s reflected in the songs,” he explained. “There’s so much desperation on this record but I think people can relate to that.”

The band have also drawn inspiration from the music and culture they grew up around, including early 2000s hardcore, MySpace and Warped Tour.
One Step Closer have a busy touring schedule ahead, joining Hot Mulligan for a run of North American dates later this month. They’ll also share stages with Pain of Truth, Madball and Senses Fail, before heading to Spain for Can’t Keep Us Down Fest in January.
Zero is available to pre-order now, with both new singles streaming on all major platforms.
