My Chemical Romance have officially released “Someone Out There Loves You (Live from Hoboken)”, sharing a previously unreleased recording alongside an accompanying live video ahead of the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade.
The performance was recorded at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey, during the band’s 2007 tour. Long known to fans as “Stay”, the song was performed live during that era but never received an official release until now.
The recording is one of six bonus tracks included on the upcoming expanded deluxe edition of The Black Parade, arriving October 23rd via Reprise Records. The collection features the original album, three live recordings from 2007 and three previously released B-sides.
Reflecting on the anniversary, the band said:
“Twenty years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade, our third record and the follow up to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. At the time, we could never have imagined what the record would mean for the band.”
They also confirmed that the expanded collection brings together everything completed during the album’s recording sessions for the first time.
The release comes as My Chemical Romance prepare for a five-night run at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, beginning October 21st and concluding on Halloween. The shows will bring the US leg of their The Black Parade 2026 Tour to a close.
The band have also partnered with Hot Topic for a month-long anniversary celebration, featuring exclusive merchandise, giveaways and listening parties across participating stores on October 23rd.
