Melrose Avenue have officially released their cover of Bring Me The Horizon’s “Drown” after fans called for the band to record their live rendition of the track.
The Sydney quartet began performing “Drown” during their Spring 2026 headline shows, with the response eventually leading to an official version in collaboration with Songs That Saved My Life.
The project sees artists cover songs that have played an important role in their lives, while supporting organisations working across mental health and suicide prevention. Proceeds currently benefit Crisis Text Line, Superbands, The Trevor Project and To Write Love On Her Arms.
The release comes during a huge period for Melrose Avenue. The band have built an audience of more than 2.8 million followers across social media and currently have over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, having signed with Hopeless Records in 2024.
Made up of Vlado Saric, Mitchell Black, Shawn “Red Curl” Mayer and Jed McIntosh, Melrose Avenue will next head to the US for the Taste Of Chaos Tour before returning to the UK and Europe for their biggest headline run in the region so far.
That tour begins in Dublin on January 27th, 2027, followed by UK shows in Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London before continuing across Europe through March.
“We wanted to get back to those people asap and turn the heat up even more,” vocalist Vlado Saric said of the upcoming run. “Bigger stages, heavier songs and louder nights.”
