LEAP have released new single ‘Bloodlines’, their first release since signing to Epitaph Records and the beginning of what the band describe as “something new”.
The track is also their first new music since the release of debut album Entropy last year. According to vocalist Jacky, ‘Bloodlines’ was the first song the band wrote after finishing that record and reflects just how much has changed for them since.
“A lot has changed for us in the past year, and this track kinda feels like it captures the madness of that journey a bit,” Jacky explains.
He describes ‘Bloodlines’ as being about “that cosmic pull that keeps bringing you back to someone no matter how toxic”, adding that the band have been writing plenty of new material and “cannot wait to start releasing music again”.
It comes after a huge period of growth for LEAP. Their self released debut Entropy reached the UK Top 10 and has helped take the band beyond 90 million global streams. They have also spent the summer appearing at festivals including Pinkpop, Sziget and All Points East.
Next up is another major milestone, with LEAP heading out on their first ever world tour. The run begins in Anaheim on September 30th before taking them across North America, Europe and the UK through the remainder of 2026.
Several dates have already sold out, including Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Amsterdam and Paris. UK shows follow from November 30th, with Leeds, Bristol and Glasgow also currently sold out.
For a band whose debut album only arrived last year, ‘Bloodlines’ arrives at a pretty significant point. A new label, a first world tour and, according to LEAP themselves, plenty more new music to come.
