Los Angeles pop punk band In Her Own Words have returned with their latest single, ‘Back To One’, released on October 23rd via Thriller Records alongside an official lyric video.
The new track follows the band’s recent EP, Left In The Dark, and explores the difficulties of finding a fresh start in a relationship when both people are caught in the same cycle. Featuring vocalist Joey Fleming and guitarist Andretti Almalel, the band continue to build on their latest chapter with another new release.
Explaining the meaning behind the track, the band shared: “‘Back to One’ is about those moments when you know you’re stuck in the same cycle, but neither person is ready to let go. It’s about taking a step back, hitting reset, and trying to find your way back to the beginning instead of calling it the end.”
The release comes as In Her Own Words continue a busy run of live shows across the United States. Having recently completed their Sticky Sweet headline tour and appeared at events including Emo Vacation and Ceremony Fest Takeover, the band are back on the road throughout October and November.
Upcoming stops include Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn and Lowell, before the band head south in December for another run of shows across Florida, North Carolina and Virginia.
