Ice Nine Kills are coming for Christmas. The band have announced A Very Vicious Christmas, an eight track EP putting their own horror soaked spin on some of the biggest Christmas classics.

Set for release digitally on November 9th via Fearless Records, the collection was originally created for Halloween Horror Nights’ “Terror Tram starring Art the Clown” at Universal Studios Hollywood, before the band decided to take it beyond the attraction.
The tracklist includes Ice Nine Kills versions of “Carol of the Bells”, “Jingle Bells”, “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”, “O Christmas Tree”, “Joy to the World” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas”, alongside full band and orchestral versions of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies”.
Frontman Spencer Charnas says the project came naturally after the band were asked to provide music for Art the Clown’s Christmas themed takeover of the Terror Tram.
“Art loves Christmas. Who better to distastefully dismember some Christmas classics than Ice Nine Kills?”
The EP announcement comes during a huge October for Ice Nine Kills, with the band currently involved in two major horror events across the US.
At Universal Studios Hollywood, “Terror Tram starring Art the Clown” sees the Terrifier killer take over the historic backlot for his own Christmas celebration, with music from A Very Vicious Christmas providing the soundtrack. The attraction runs on select nights through November 1st as part of Halloween Horror Nights, while Orlando attendees can also find Art in the Downtown Clowntown scare zone.
Ice Nine Kills have also teamed up with AMC Theatres and Bloody Disgusting for “Welcome to Horrorwood”, a month long film series running at around 300 AMC locations across the US.

Throughout October, Hostel, Friday the 13th, American Psycho, Pet Sematary and The Crow are returning to the big screen. Each screening features a custom introduction from Spencer Charnas before the film and the corresponding Ice Nine Kills music video afterwards.
It adds to an already massive run in horror for the band. Their official Terrifier 3 song “A Work of Art” has now picked up nearly 60 million streams, while Ice Nine Kills have also recently contributed music to Scream 7, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come and Dead by Daylight.
A Very Vicious Christmas will be released digitally on November 9th via Fearless Records.
