Enter Shikari have released a new four track live session titled Live From The Golden Age, featuring the first ever live performance of their latest single, “Higher Ground”.

Rather than recording in a traditional studio, the band headed to an abandoned manor in the middle of nowhere to film the session, transforming the building with digital screens positioned across its windows.

Frontman Rou Reynolds explained:

“In typical Enter Shikari fashion, we didn’t want to just do a standard ‘live in the studio session’. So we broke into an abandoned manor in the middle of nowhere, and painstakingly placed digital screens over the windows in an attempt to present the tracks in different environments despite the limits of the space.”

Directed by Tom Pullen, with audio recorded and mixed by George Perks, the session features “it’s OK”, “Higher Ground”, “The Flick Of A Switch I.” and “LOSE YOUR SELF”.

The release follows the band’s recent announcement that they will enter an indefinite hiatus at the end of 2027, with their future beyond that point remaining uncertain.

Before then, Enter Shikari are preparing for their biggest UK and European headline arena tour this November, joined by Holding Absence and The Callous Daoboys.

The UK dates begin in Nottingham on November 13th, with stops in Cardiff, Hull, Glasgow and Manchester before two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace on November 20th and 21st.
