PRESIDENT have officially announced their debut album Blood Of Your Empire, set for release on September 4, 2026 via Atlantic Records.
Alongside the announcement, the anonymous UK collective have also shared their latest single “DOOM LOOP” alongside a brand new music video, continuing the mysterious rollout that’s quickly turned PRESIDENT into one of heavy music’s most talked about new names.
The band describe the track as a reflection on time and the way people often realise the value of moments only after they’ve passed.
“The song is really about the strange tragedy of time,” the band explained. “How we spend our lives chasing it, wasting it, and fearing it — only to realise its value once a moment is gone.”
The album itself dives even deeper into themes surrounding mortality, faith and existential crisis. Speaking about the record, PRESIDENT said Blood Of Your Empire was born from years of internal struggle and questioning.
“Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history,” the band shared. “This album lives in the tension between those two truths.”
Since launching in 2025, PRESIDENT have built a huge amount of intrigue through their stripped-back aesthetic, anonymity and cinematic approach to heavy music. Blending electronics, atmosphere and massive modern heaviness, the project has already pulled in millions of streams despite still revealing very little about who is actually behind it.
The album artwork features Eugène Delacroix’s famous painting The Battle of Poitiers, which currently hangs in the Louvre Museum.
