Angel Du$t Turn Up the Heat with New Single “Pain Is A Must” Ahead of This Week’s Album Drop

Angel Du$t aren’t easing into this album release. They’re kicking the door in.

With their new record ‘COLD 2 THE TOUCH‘ arriving this Friday via Run For Cover Records, the band have shared one more preview in the form of “Pain Is A Must,” a track that hits fast, loud, and with zero interest in playing it safe. Clocking in as part of a tight 26-minute album, the new material continues to show just how far the band have pushed their version of aggressive rock over the last few years.

“Pain Is A Must” follows a string of singles that have already set the tone for the record, including “I’m The Outside,” “DU$T,” the title track, “The Knife,” and “The Beat.” This latest drop keeps the energy high, pairing sharp riffs with a guest appearance from Scott Vogel of Terror, which should tell you everything you need to know about the track’s intensity.

The album also marks a reunion with producer Brian McTernan, who worked on some of the band’s early material, and introduces new members Nick Lewis and Jim Carroll into the fold. On top of that, the record pulls in a stacked list of guests from across the hardcore world, including Wes Eisold, Patrick Cozens, Frank Carter, and Taylor Young. It feels less like a standard feature list and more like a full-blown scene crossover.

Frontman Justice Tripp summed up the spirit of the record simply, making it clear that Angel Du$t are always going to be about aggressive rock and roll, whether people are ready for it or not. That attitude runs through everything they’ve released from this cycle so far, and “Pain Is A Must” might be the clearest statement yet.

With the album landing this week and a massive run of shows lined up across North America and beyond, Angel Du$t are heading into this release at full speed. No slow build, no gentle introduction, just straight into the fire!
