Fit For A King Just Dropped the Most Brutal Collab of the Year

Fit For A King are back, and they didn’t come to play. Their new single ‘Witness The End’ is a straight-up deathcore gut punch, featuring none other than Chris Motionless of Motionless In White — and yeah, it absolutely goes off.

Fit For A King – Witness The End Ft. Chris Motionless

The track is pulled from their upcoming album Lonely God, which lands August 1st via Solid State Records. It’s chaotic, crushing, and weirdly cinematic, thanks to its wild inspiration: the Netflix series Midnight Mass. If you’re into vampire priests and existential dread, you’re already halfway there.

“We didn’t care what anybody thought — we just wanted to write a deathcore song,” the band shared. And honestly? It shows. In the best way. Chris Motionless delivers a spine-tingling feature that only adds to the unhinged energy, making this one of the most unpredictable moments on the record.

Lonely God isn’t just a random collection of heavy songs. This is Fit For A King firing on all cylinders — five members, one mission. They took a break, regrouped, hit the studio with Spiritbox producer Daniel Braunstein, and made the most personal and chaotic record of their career so far. Think Dark Skies meets Creation/Destruction, with an extra shot of adrenaline.

The title track Lonely God hits hard too, tackling the idea of chasing power at the cost of love, connection, and… basically your soul. “You may have all the power and be a ‘God’, but it’s a lonely spot because the world despises you,” says frontman Ryan Kirby. Yeah, it’s heavy in every sense.

With features from Landon Tewers (The Plot In You), Lochie Keogh (Alpha Wolf), and now Chris Motionless, this album isn’t just packed — it’s stacked. If Witness The End is any indication, Lonely God might just be the most unrelenting, honest, and absolutely face-melting release of the year.
