Harpy Invites You Into the Darkness With Her Most Ambitious Move Yet

After setting Download Festival ablaze with her explosive debut performance last weekend, Harpy is wasting no time. The rising alt-pop provocateur has just announced her debut EP VII, dropping November 7th, and to celebrate, she’s hosting her biggest headline show to date—Monday, December 1st at Oslo in London.

This won’t be your average gig. Harpy is promising an immersive unveiling of VII, performed live in full for the very first time. “I’m brimming with anticipation for this show,” she teases. “We gave everybody a taste of what we were capable of at the last headline, but I can now reveal the true depths of this record and myself, finally, on stage.” If her previous sets are anything to go by, expect theatrical chaos, guttural screams, and maybe even some chainsaws.

The EP itself is a seven-track dive into the seven deadly sins—Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth—each song peeling back a layer of Harpy’s own self-confessed transgressions. “This record is a chance for me to repent my sins, for the whole world to see,” she says. And judging by the blistering first single Last Time, this confessional is coming with fire and fury.

Last Time is Harpy’s take on Lust—an unapologetic scream into the void of desire. Co-written with Juan Ariza (Julia Michaels, Dua Lipa), Milkie Way (WARGASM), and produced by Sam Matlock and Pieter Rietkerk, the track is pure end-of-the-world energy. “It’s about the darkest of desires… If you’re going to f*** me, you better f*** me like it’s the end of the world,” she says. Subtle? No. Unforgettable? Absolutely.

Harpy’s blend of industrial, goth rock, and alt-pop is carving out a niche that’s impossible to ignore. Dubbed the “Goth Metal Mommy” by fans, she’s earned her place as one of Kerrang!’s Ones to Watch 2025, with standout tracks like Medicine, Slaughterhouse, and Not My God Anymore showcasing her flair for turning darkness into a spectacle.

She’s toured with heavy-hitters like WARGASM and Cassyette, sold out her debut headline show, and brought the chaos to 2000 Trees Festival. Now, after conquering Download, she’s ready to take things to the next level. With over 44 million TikTok views and her music pulsing across major streaming playlists, Harpy is a storm brewing on the edge of the mainstream—and she’s about to pull everyone into it.

Tickets for the Oslo show go on sale Thursday 19th June at 10am. If you want in, act fast. Harpy’s not just putting on a gig—she’s throwing open the gates to VII, and this is your invitation to descend into the dark.
