Heart Attack Man Unleash Ferocious New Single “Joyride The Pale Horse”

Heart Attack Man just dropped the hammer with their latest single—and it’s not just any track. “Joyride The Pale Horse” is the electrifying title track from their upcoming fourth studio album, and it officially sets the tone for what’s shaping up to be one of their most intense records yet.

Out today alongside a cinematic new video, “Joyride The Pale Horse” is an emotional whirlwind, blurring the lines between chaos and catharsis. Frontman Eric Egan describes it as “a melodramatic addressing of death without actually calling it by name,” explaining that the song captures the spirit of the entire album. Ironically, it was also the first track written for the record. “In many ways,” Egan shares, “it set a lot of the energy into motion.”

Drenched in existential dread and loaded with explosive riffs, the song is a fitting closer for the album—which lands April 25. Pre-orders are live now through the band’s site, featuring exclusive vinyl variants and merch bundles for fans looking to dive all in.

The new video adds another layer of intensity, pairing the song’s brooding energy with haunting visuals that amplify its themes of mortality, disillusionment, and the push-pull between resistance and surrender. It’s Heart Attack Man at their most self-aware and sonically expansive.

“Joyride The Pale Horse” marks a bold leap forward for the Cleveland band, continuing their evolution while staying rooted in the sharp-edged punk angst fans have come to love. If this track is any indication, the rest of the album won’t be pulling any punches.

The full album, Joyride The Pale Horse, drops April 25.
