Shoreline Drop New Single “Forgive” Featuring Joe Taylor of Knuckle Puck

German emo-punk outfit Shoreline is kicking off the year with a powerful new single, “Forgive,” featuring Joe Taylor of Knuckle Puck. Accompanied by an intense music video, the track showcases the band’s signature blend of raw emotion and driving punk energy.

A Collab That Just Felt Right

Speaking about the collaboration, Shoreline vocalist Hansol Seung shared his excitement about working with Taylor:

“Knuckle Puck took us out on a UK tour last year and they were such an amazing band to be on the road with, we’re super stoked to have Joe on the song.
When he sent me his tracks it immediately felt right and it was exactly the way I hoped it would sound. When we wrote the song I wanted my voice in the louder parts to almost crack and sound really rough, and I love how Joe’s voice is also sometimes breaking into shouting, matching the energy of the song.”

Shoreline’s Journey: DIY Roots to International Recognition

Deeply rooted in the DIY hardcore/punk scene, Shoreline built a reputation as an electrifying live band, playing in squats, rehearsal rooms, and basement venues across Europe. Their relentless touring led them to share the stage with scene legends like Basement, Silverstein, Spanish Love Songs, and Hot Water Music.

In 2023, the band released their album To Figure Out, tackling everything from political issues like climate change and animal rights to deeply personal themes of friendships, love, and self-acceptance. Produced by Chris Teti (Silverbullet Studios), the album solidified their sound—balancing classic punk roots with a modern, dynamic edge.

Seung, who has been open about his experiences as an Asian-German artist, continues exploring themes of identity and self-empowerment on this record. As more BIPOC fans connect with Shoreline’s music, the band remains committed to amplifying diverse voices within the scene.
